1800's Cast Iron Fireplace Mantle from Kentucky

This has been one of the best finds of the year, 1800's complete Cast Iron Fireplace Mantle pulled from the farms of Kentucky. All original to its maker,  Fischer Leaf Co in Louisville Kentucky, whom quit production of these and started the Cast Iron Pots/Pans. This mantle has some great detail in the tile insert and is complete with its iron wood basket. Not only was this one on our top finds list, but to also receive a twin to it. This is what we do, bring back pieces like this: unique, old, gently loved and has lots of character that tell a story.
