This rare Antique find of the century is an 1800's original white fireplace mantle in cast iron. The mantle has its original stamp by the company on the back. Has original insert (embossed picture of goddess on it) and log holder. All is complete and salvaged from an old farmhouse in Danville KY. This is truly a remarkable piece to own for its age. I have never seen a complete fireplace mantle made entirely from cast iron. The company that made the mantle quit making them and switched to cast iron pots and pans. So truly a rare find. No hard damage to it, just normal age. Insert does have a few rust spots. It does weigh a lot, measures: 48"x 47" x 11"
** We do have 2 of these Mantles if you are needing 2.**
